It all started at TCU’s Graphic Design School — where we were technically competitors before we were a couple. Hence the perfect location for our wedding ceremony. We spent our college years trying to out-design each other at every competition (and maybe subtly trying to impress each other, too). Somewhere between late nights in the studio and a few too many critiques, we realized we made a pretty great team — on and off the artboard.
Fast forward a few years: we both graduated, swapped student projects for client deadlines, and now live in Fort Worth, working at different ad agencies (so yes, the friendly creative competition continues).
When we’re not pitching big ideas, you can usually find us watching Survivor and pretending we’d totally win if we were on it, catching a musical, cooking something ambitious, or fiercely negotiating over a game of Catan. In the winter, we trade all that for the slopes and pretend we’re way better skiers than we actually are (even though we are really great).
We can’t wait to finally be married and celebrate what the Lord has done in our lives to bring us together with all our favorite people — aka the best creative project we’ve ever collaborated on!
